Jetty | Original Fine Art Oil Painting

This painting was made when I decided to cycle from downtown West Palm Beach to the northern most point of Palm Beach out of pure exploration. It’s a great spot to just relax and listen to the sound of waves crashing on the rocks as the sea life scurries around the rocks and fish take momentary refuge.  The waves form visible pools on the saturated and algae-coated concrete as I’ve represented here. I’ve went snorkeling and free diving around this area at times, and I always left everything at peace in this area. I’ve had some great deep meaningful conversations here as well, meeting fellow beach combers who later became comrades. Made in 2010
